Bio
Natasha Ama Eck is an arts producer, project director, and dance artist with over 20 years of experience supporting artists, organizations, and communities. She holds a Project Management Certificate from Humber College, a BFA (Dance) and a Bachelor of Education from York University, and a Diploma in Dance & Musical Theatre from Bird College (UK).
Through her consultancy, Ama Project Management, Natasha connects artists and organizations, providing strategic, operational, and production support that brings creative projects from concept to execution with clarity and structure.
She produced the first iteration of Umsamo in 2024 in collaboration with Mafa Dance Village. In 2025, she was Producer-in-Residence with the Pan African Creative Exchange (PACE) in Bloemfontein, South Africa, expanding her international experience and networks, and co-hosted the Arts Administration in Africa podcast series in collaboration with the Centre for Socially Engaged Theatre (CSET).
Most recently, she produced the Canadian tour for the international premiere of IZILO by Vincent Mantsoe, presented by dance Immersion (Toronto) and the Moving Inspirations Festival (Winnipeg), alongside intensive KOBA technique workshops in Alberta, Winnipeg, and Toronto.
